We are pleased to announce that in line with the latest England Hockey and Government guidelines that we are able to support a further phased return to hockey with effect from 26th September 2020. With government approval, competitive activity can resume – both training and matches – outdoor and indoor. This is great news for us as pre-season starts and will allow for local fixtures to take place.
The arrangements we have put in place will allow our membership safe access to the Old Cranleighan astro pitch. However, we would advise that members considered to be in vulnerable categories (e.g. owing to age, underlying health conditions or pregnant women) should refrain from attending.
In order to comply with the latest announcements and allow the safe use of the Old Cranleighan astro pitch for members ONLY, detailed below are our user guidance notes and booking instructions (where applicable).
Our detailed guidance must be adhered to at all times when visiting the OC Club to ensure the social distancing rules are applied. If this guidance is not adhered to, the coaches, any member of the OCHC Club committee, the management of the Old Cranleighan Club and facilities manager at Surbiton High School have the authority to ask you to leave the premises for the safety of others and themselves.
The current arrangements will continue to apply and may-be subject to change depending on any changes announced by England Hockey or the Government.
