Old Cranleighan Hockey Club will be raising money for Prostate Cancer UK for the month of November.
Please take time, to listen to a message from Men’s 1st XI captain, Will Phillips, which you can find pinned to our Instagram page.
Will has initiated a commendable charitable campaign for the month of November, and will be participating in the London Marathon in April 2024, dedicating his run to Prostate Cancer UK in light of his father’s ongoing battle with the illness.
Will, a dedicated participant in the annual Movember initiative, has decided to merge these two significant commitments to maximise awareness and gather crucial funding throughout November.
The club is wholeheartedly backing Will Phil in these efforts and has organised a series of events to further this cause. The club’s Men’s section will wear black and blue socks for all games played in November, symbolising our support for Prostate Cancer UK and OCHC.
We kindly request a contribution of £15 from each participant – your generous donation will contribute towards the cost of the socks and the remainder to be donated to Prostate Cancer UK. We will also be taking part in Movember with the greatest tash taking home a sweet prize at the end of the month.
We are grateful for your support and eagerly anticipate the sight of an array of moustaches gracing our hockey pitches from the 1st of November.
