Old Cranleighan Ladies 1st XI are delighted to welcome the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism (CIDOT) as their new shirt sponsor for the next two seasons. A great addition to the team as they venture into the Surrey Ladies Premier League for their first season.
This builds on the Club’s existing strong relationship with CIDOT who already partner with our 600+ Junior section as shirt sponsor.
A British Overseas Territory, the Cayman Islands is located in the western Caribbean Sea, south of Cuba and north west of Jamaica.
Comprising three islands, all offer something different from the barefoot elegance of Grand Cayman, to the adventurous spirit of Cayman Brac and the tranquillity of Little Cayman.
Well known for dining, world-class diving, beautiful beaches, tranquil turquoise seas and incredible wildlife, the Cayman Islands offers a memorable and luxurious experience for visitors of all ages and interests.
Visitors can watch the sun rise with the stingrays, explore spectacular coral reefs, relax in a beach hammock and eat at a five-star restaurant – all in one day.
Adrian White, Cayman Islands Department of Tourism UK & Europe Regional Manager commented: “We are delighted to further our partnership with Old Cranleighan Hockey Club by sponsoring the Ladies 1st XI. It’s an exciting time for the club and its players as they embark on a new season, and the partnership strengthens our portfolio of top-level sports, which also include London Irish R and Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.
Sports tourism is a big growth opportunity for the Cayman Islands and marks a new direction in marketing for us. We hope to entice Old Cranleighan players and all connected to the club to come and visit Cayman, enjoy our Caribbean hospitality and experience everything that these three beautiful islands have to offer.”
