Mens 1st XI v Tulse Hill

We were flat, really flat from the start and were unpicked by a determined Tulse Hill side. Tulse Hill deserved their win and did to us what we have done so many times to other sides this year by catching us on the break a couple of times to run out 2 – 0 winners. We did not really threaten with our 9 short corners, missed a couple of decent chances and were generally under par with our decision making in the final third.

This result puts us under pressure even though we are still 6 points clear of third place but the fat lady has not even got into her dressing room yet, let along started rehearsing her lines. We should not be under any illusions, the run in will be tough with the 3 sides below us having their tails up. We need to play 2 of them, Banbury this week and Purley in our last game, in the last 3 games.

The last time we dropped 5 points out of 6 we went on an unbeaten run of 6 games and so need to replicate this over the next 3 games.
